Christian Fitness Coach for People Who Want Their Training to Mean Something
I'm Felix Gonzalez. Most people call me Coach Fe. I've been coaching since 2007, and for 16 years I've watched the same thing happen over and over. A good man knows what to do. He's read the articles. He's bought the program. And he still isn't doing it.
Most of the time the problem isn't information. It's purpose. If you don't know why you train and who you do it for, you'll quit the first week life gets loud.
That's why I coach the way I do. FGP stands for For God's Purpose. It's a ministry fueled by fitness, solidified by faith.
What a Christian Fitness Coach Actually Does
A Christian fitness coach still has to coach. You get a plan for training. You get a plan for eating. You get someone checking in and holding you to what you said you'd do.
The difference is what sits underneath it. We train because the body God gave you is worth taking care of. We eat with discipline because self-control is a fruit of the Spirit, and it grows when you practice it. We stay consistent because the people who depend on you need you strong.
Paul put it plainly:
"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, ESV)
That verse is the whole reason I do this.
The Four Domains We Work On
I don't only coach your body. I coach the whole man, and the same goes for the women I work with. Every client works through four domains:
- The Temple (Body). Training, nutrition, sleep and recovery. The basics, done every day.
- The Divine Mandate (Being). Your walk with God. Who you are when nobody's watching.
- The Covenant (Balance). Your marriage, your kids, your home. Getting strong can't cost you your family.
- Your Legacy (Business). Your work and what you leave behind. How you lead outside the gym.
When one of these is off, the others feel it. A man who's falling apart at home won't stick to a meal plan for long. So we look at all four.
Who This Is For
I train mostly men, and I train women too. My clients are usually busy. Jobs, kids, church, a schedule that doesn't leave much room. They're tired of starting over every Monday.
This is a fit for you if:
- You believe in God and want your faith to show up in how you live, including how you train.
- You're done with quick fixes and want a plan you can keep for years.
- You're willing to be coached. That means honest check-ins and doing the work when you don't feel like it.
It's probably not a fit if you want a 30-day shred or someone to just hand you a workout and disappear.
How Coaching Works
Coaching is online, so you can work with me from anywhere. If you're near Fresno, CA, ask about in-person options when you apply.
Here's what you get:
- Training built around your schedule, your equipment and where you're starting from.
- Nutrition guidance you can live with. No eating plan you'll hate by week two.
- Regular check-ins with me, so you're never guessing.
- Faith woven into the work, with Scripture and accountability in the four domains.
Coaching starts at $397/mo. Self-led starts at $99/mo. I'd rather be upfront about that than waste your time.
Why Me
I've been coaching for 16 years. I also served 16 years in the California Army National Guard and retired as a Staff Sergeant. That taught me a lot about discipline, but the thing that matters most to me is at home. I'm a husband and a father of four. I know what it is to be stretched thin and still have people counting on you.
I'm not going to hype you up. I'm going to coach you, pray for you, and hold you to what you said.
